I'm going to a concert with my little brother tonight which is a mix of a bunch of artists, so he was listening to the radio & they were giving away better tickets than ours so he called & won 2nd row tickets!! I'm so excited! I've never sat that close !!

britt Have fun! I've not been that close either! DD, who has slept through the night for over at least a year with no problems, suddenly decided last night she was not going to go back to sleep after 1 AM without someone else. Of course DH is away on a trip this weekend too. DD and I are both a little tired this morning so we're gonna keep it low key today and stay at home cleaning and sleeping.

Weekend started off well here! DS colored (more like scribbled) on a Father's Day card for DH today, and I was able to get DS to watch the movie Cars for a bit - to give DH the chance to take a much needed nap. With me on bedrest, DH doesn't get much of a break on the weekends. Tomorrow is breakfast delivery from our favorite Scandinavian place to celebrate Father's Day. I already know what DS and I are getting - waffles with lingonberries! They're soooo good. This should be me in T-12 hours....  |

We got the old couch and chair moved out and the new couch moved in. My mil was being her usual self, criticizing everything. Oh and both she and fil called me fat. Him: "are you sure you're due in October and not September?" Her: "are you sure it's not twins?" Like WTF!
Apparently they're moving on July 5 and I'm counting down the minutes. I told DH they are not allowed to come see the new baby. Fuck them.

Have a great time britt!! I cleaned house all morning with the "help" of DS. Actually, he was really really good. Things are nice and presentable to Father's Day lunch tomorrow. DH is on the way home from football (this three week practice/camp run is finally over) and we're off to an outdoor wedding for one of the assistant coaches. Gonna be a hot one, but should be fun. |

I just had a McDonald's chicken ranch salad with fries and a coke - because we can't be too healthy.
And it was AMAZING. Not sure it's because it's so good or if I just wanted one so much. Either way, I'm so happy right now.

Hey! We met with a realtor today and it looks like we'll be listing the house at some point in the near future. So much work to do, but I'll be happy to sell it and be done with it.

britt That's so exciting, have fun! AMF I survived my week at VBS, we just have a short program during church tomorrow to sing a few songs with the kids. It was super fun, but I'm exhausted. DS and I are thoroughly enjoying our lazy Saturday. H went to the gun range this morning with a few friends to shoot clay pigeons, but he should be home soon. Might grill some brats and sweet corn for dinner tonight. Currently, I'm enjoying a delicious blueberry bagel and cream cheese with a side of m&ms.

Never ever again under any but the most dire circumstances to stay overnight again. Like was for getting out of IL house - despite the work it took today! I could never live with my ILs. We have a decent relationship because there is some distance between us. |

DD took a glorious 2.5hr nap - we both needed it! I didn't get as much cleaning done as I hoped this morning but DD and I got some lazy snuggles in while she played. I might be able to convince her to swifter soon, she loves that thing and the floor gets decently clean before I have to finish it.

FX your house sells quickly! We sold/bought houses while I was pregnant with DS. It was so stressful! We ended up moving the day after bringing him home from the hospital. |

Just finished up Thai food for dinner,so yummy. DD wanted to cuddle and watch Dora before bed. DH and I spent the afternoon at a baseball game, my team lost and it was ridiculously hot but overall a fun afternoon.

trinitrotoluene You are a saint for having lived with your ILs. Before our move to Asia, we stayed with my ILs for 2 months and it was awful. Never, ever again! Glad you are out now! cougarette Sorry about your ILs too. Why do people think they can say crap like to pregnant women? Makes me rage...

It was a cool, rainy day here, so we mostly hung around the house. I just realized I never sent Father's Day cards to our dads. I bought them... and put them somewhere... This seems to happen almost every year. Also they both have June birthdays already, I should just combine cards. They will just have to be belated again.

I was too tired to really type yesterday but we went to a friends lake house for the day and the boys had so much fun. Lots of beach and lake play and some fishing. I'm glad we didn't spend the night. It was nice for everyone to go to bed and wake up at home.
Today H is sleeping in and then we are taking the boys to the zoo.
I'm having these awful dry heaving fits. These zoo smells today are not going to help.

Taitai report back on your waffles! britt how was the concert? what a nice thing to do with your brother. It was fun!!!! We were close so the bass was loud and the baby was kicking me all night! We had fun though, glad it was my last concert being pregnant !! I peed like 100 times and of course our seats were in the middle of the isle. I was that typical pregnant girl at the concert lol!! I've finally been letting myself start buying baby things, and I got an order from Carter's, was sitting in DSs room looking through the baby things I got when DH walked by and started laughing at me. All the baby clothes are so TINY! I love it   |

Two busy days for me! Yesterday we went to the aquarium and met up with one of the moms from my A15 BMB. Had a really nice time, though DS wasn't very sociable. Then spent the afternoon at my parents hanging out with my mom and sister.
Today I'm going to make an early run to the grocery store, bake brownies for DH, then I'm going to an orchestra concert with DH, my parents, my sister, and her boyfriend. We're going out to get pizza after. This is the first real "meet the parents" for my sister's boyfriend (at least more than a few minutes) and they've been dating for over a year. Big day for my sister!

H and DS left at like 5am this morning to go crabbing, he just called and said they only have like a dozen and a half so far but they're taking a swimming break and then are going to go back out.
I, on the other hand, slept til like 10:30 and have been incredibly lazy since. ::yawn::
