I'm just now able to walk up and down my stairs. The cardio day of the 21 day fix was pretty intense, but I made it through! YES! I was seriously like how can i do an hour of turbo kick/dance and not feel this winded and I just did 30 minutes?

My apple watch said I burned 310 calories, which was way more than any other workout or 30 minutes on the elliptical.

I joined the FB group and asked about the soreness. Was told to take today as a rest day and stretch.

But I've been modifying a lot of the abdominal moves because I'm in really bad shape there. And I dont want to hurt my back trying to push too hard. I really need to get a set of 5lb weights.

The standing mountain climbers were very difficult for my coordination. I just kind of jogged in place and punched toward the sky... All the ab moves are super hard for me. My core is definitely my weakest part. I modified a few of the moves and didn't go through all of the times cardio. I am so uncoordinated. I was having a hard time moving my hands and feet. I dont even want to know how bad it looked.

Leg day is in the books. Those Buddha squats were brand new to me. They're heinous and I love them. Although my form went completely to pot in the final few.

I finished AAA. I had to use 15 lb weights for the bent over rows and bicep curls because I have really built up my strength over the past year. To be honest, with the exception of the slider/core work, this one was pretty easy for me.

Has anyone else gained weight? I’ve gained 2 pounds since starting the 21 day fix. I’m not exactly following the meal plan, but I am eating way healthier and tracking calories. I’m starting to get discouraged and wondering if I should just go back to my normal workouts.

Big changes in workout routines or types will cause muscular water retention, which shows on the scale. Chug lots of water, it should go down.

I did not care for cardio flow. It was really hard on my wrists, which there isn't really a way to modify for, and I kept getting dizzy from all the elevation changes. But I finished week 1!!

My scale “measures” fat percentage and it hasn’t changed, but I don’t know how accurate it is. My scale always goes up when I'm sore. Muscles hold onto water to help repair. You're probably also holding onto lactic acid. A nice walk will actually help flush the acid out and ease soreness, which in turn will help with the water retention too.

Finished leg day this morning. We were traveling yesterday and didn't get in until after 9.
I'm hoping to work in Cardio Flow before we hit the road again tomorrow.

I agree, that was a lot of wrist work. I even did mine on pretty soft carpet. I almost feel like I should repeat this week to work on my form. I'm really lacking.

My kid peed the bed last night so I chose an extra hour of sleep this morning over getting up for AAA.
So, unplanned rest day today and AAA tomorrow.

yeah I'm not doing perfectly with the timed nutrition thing bc while school is out I just sort of have to cram the workout in when I can. I'm still using my containers and only eating the recommended amount of everything but my eating isn't spaced out the way it's recommended.

We didn't get in until 10 last night and I have a dozen things to get done tonight.
I'm going to meal plan and start week 1 again as of Friday or Saturday. I just need to get the 6 year olds schedule set with school starting and then work on me.

You can totally do your own thing, but Autumn says not to start over of you have a bad week. Just put it behind you and keep pushing play.
