I know this board hasn’t seen activity for months, but if anyone ever pops in occasionally, please check in! I “ran in to” tj on GD, and I realized how much I missed my SAIF girls. I would love to hear how everyone is doing, and I’m sure others would too. How are you doing? How are your kid(s)? How old are they now? Any big changes? Where are you on your IF/SAIF journey? Etc. etc. etc.

AFM, my boys are now 4 and almost 2. DS1 starts pre-k in a couple of weeks, and DS2 will start a three morning a week program. DS1 is having his tonsils and adenoids removed on Monday. He was diagnosed with something called PFAPA, a periodic fever syndrome. He gets a high fever, sore throat and swollen lymph nodes every three weeks like clockwork. There’s a 50% chance that the tonsillectomy with help. I’m hopeful, but also very anxious. DS2 is a little hellion. He has no fear, climbs on or jumps off of everything. He’s also the clingiest, neediest mama’s boy. He’s very high maintenance, and he’s lucky he’s so damn cute. I am still a SAHM. I finally started focusing on myself for the first time since DS1 was born. I joined a gym in May (mainly for the childcare over the summer), but I’m really enjoying it. I’m mainly going to yoga and Pilates. It feels really good to finally take care of ME and have that time alone every day. It’s also really helping my anxiety/depression/mood and overall just how I feel. I had a hysterectomy in December 2016. We sent our remaining two frozen embryos to UCLA’s stem cell research program last year, so that chapter in our lives is officially closed. It feels really good just to be done. I did keep my ovaries though, and I’m dealing with rupturing cysts monthly. I’m over that. But overall, life is pretty good! I think of you all often, and try to send good thoughts out there for you! I hope you all are doing well! ❤️

A is turning 17 months in a few weeks.
I'm also expecting TWINS in March as a result of IUI.

Present!
E just turned 6, and starts first grade in 2 weeks. 😳 She is insanely smart. She can be a great kid, and loves to help with everything. But she also has a crazy attitude and likes to yell and slam doors.
P is 4, and is still my sweet, precious, lovey dovey, hilarious, adorable darling. She starts full day preK in 2 weeks. And I am shocked every time I look at her that she isn’t my tiny baby anymore.
I still really want a third. But Mh really doesn’t. And I guess I’m starting to feel more ok with it. But I still dream about being pregnant or having a baby at least once a week.
I miss everyone too. I got a text from @robeano a while back, and it was sooooo good to hear from her!

As mentioned, DS1 is going to kinder in 12 days. I’m excited for him, but I know I’ll have more emotions as the day comes. He just had surgery Wednesday, another undescended testicle, which makes for four surgeries total since birth. Otherwise he is still my cuddly kid and always needs to be near me. He’s pretty smart and picks up on things quickly, which ought to make kinder fun.
DS2 is 3 and a big ball of crazy. He never stops moving, is insanely independent, and loves to do whatever his brother is doing. He’s got his sweet moments and is attached to DH.
We transferred two embryos 6 months apart and had a CP with both. We have one more left but keep leaning toward donating it. It took me a while to get to this place, but slicing our daycare bill in half is a huge thing for us right now. I hate that I won’t have another itty bitty, but I think it may be for the best.

Hi mnj05! I’m sorry your second transfer was a CP also. IF is so unfair. I can’t believe how long we’ve been doing this either... I started posting 7 years ago, right after my loss.

grover congrats on the twins!! tj omg. I can’t believe how big your LOs are! I can still remember when P was born. mnj05 I’m so sorry about the CP. I hope you find peace in whatever you decide to do. It’s not fair that IF makes these decisions for us.

The boys are 5 and completed all day PreK this past school year. They love school and are excited for K. DD is one, finally walking, and working on talking.
We have 6 embryos left I believe, maybe 7, I don't remember that we are planning to donate. We really need to get on completing our profile. I would like to avoid the 600 dollar bill for something I know is a closed chapter in our journey.
I'm currently on day 17 of a never ending period. I'm hoping to hear back from my OBGYN tomorrow now that I have completed the requested bloodwork. I'm pretty sure it doesn't answer the question of the cause only that I'm slightly anemic at this point. So hopefully they can get me in soon.
I can't believe how much everyones littles have grown.

tj It's me, and I have no idea. I was so happy to see that blue line that said there was some type of activity on this board. It is crazy how all of our little ones aren't so little anymore.

Hi mickey24! I can’t believe your boys are 5! It really is crazy hearing how old everyone’s kids are! Paying another year’s storage fees was a big motivator in donating our embryos last year too. We were finally done paying for IF.
