I am up early today. Already had breakfast thinking I need to get off my ass but wait I shouldn't do much of that. Kicking hubs to go wake DS up since it's usually my job so he won't be late for work. I will likely be needing a second breakfast in an hour or 2 😳 Also drumroll...I am posting from my mobile. Getting all tech savvy over here.

mkrupar, it's worth it. Do it! I may have a convo with hubs about it this weekend since I can't do much housework or much of anything for a while. He never liked the idea of having a cleaning person but might change his mind when he's got to do it all now.

@dustymonkey sorry it's a rough morning for you. I hope your H cleans up your son's bed well enough.
Not much going on here. It's supposed to be 100+ for the next week so staying cool is a must. Taking DD to a kids gym for open play later when they open and that's about it.

mkrupar, it's worth it. Do it! I may have a convo with hubs about it this weekend since I can't do much housework or much of anything for a while. He never liked the idea of having a cleaning person but might change his mind when he's got to do it all now. We'll definitely be hiring someone to deep clean before listing. I'm not about getting in my hands and knees cleaning baseboards or cleaning windows and blinds in my (soon-to-be) 3rd tri-mester. |

duskymonkey If there ever is a time that justifies getting cleaning help - now is it for you! I think it's a great idea - you'll feel less stressed and helpless if you know the housework stuff is getting taken care of - even on a basic level.

Just a regular Friday here...DS was a goofball all day and we watched some hot air balloon videos before bed. He loves hot air balloons so much! I think at some point, we're going to have to make a trip to the annual Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque. That would rock DS' world for sure.
As for me, I'm sitting here trying to figure out what to do for DH on Sunday. Bedrest makes it hard to plan or do much of anything...plus the country where we live doesn't really have online shopping. I had my secretary pick up a card, and I'm going to have DS color something on that tomorrow. Then, maybe order breakfast delivery from DH's favorite nearby breakfast place on Sunday. Not very creative, but I'm not supposed to stand to cook. Ugh...I know he'll be happy with anything, I just wish I could do more. He really has been a super star with the whole bedrest thing and taking on a lot more parenting responsibilities with DS.

Going to the park with a friend this morning, then getting a hair cut! This afternoon the wedding stuff begins, heading to the hotel to set up place cards etc. and all the girls are spending the night at my parents house. Tomorrow my little sister will be a mrs!

3 hr glucose test this morning. Fun, fun.
DS has his 2yr check up later this morning, so DH will take him (and my list of questions), I am kinda sad to miss it, but DH was already off this morning so it worked best for scheduling.

Taitai, don't stress about Sunday. I think what you have planned is perfect given your current restrictions. I know your H will understand and be happy with anything. ETA: I only have a card for H, so you're ahead of me in that regard.

Did my grocery shopping today, so... super exciting, lol! No extra kids today, so hopefully I can catch up a bit. My kids are actually entertaining themselves  I need to do a little cleaning, but no other plans for my day. |

Just another work day here. This is the weekend we are going live on the new system I had to travel so much for. I'm excited and relieved to have it behind us!
On the baby front...it's supposed to rain all weekend so I'm going to make that our excuse to paint the nursery since we'll be inside anyway. The paint we bought is literally still sitting in my car...it's been a slow start haha. For those on the edge of your seats waiting on my nursery bedding update, no decisions have been made. I did find some cute stuff on Addison Belle, but I dwell on it for hours before getting frustrated and just exiting out of everything. Baby bedding may be the death of me.

We have a wedding to go to tomorrow afternoon. It is an outdoor wedding at 4pm and it is supposed to be 93* at that time. Kill me now. I'm already slightly disappointed I can't have a couple drinks at the reception. I'm sure it'll be fine; I tend to like weddings and it should be fun aside from the heat.
As far as today goes, I'm going to Target over lunch to get a new phone. You can get a Target giftcard ($200 for Samsung, $250 for iPhone) with the purchase of a new phone. Mine is 4 years old and dying a slow death. I'm super excited about the new phone and the $200 Target card, but let's be honest...I'll probably by diapers with gift card.

We're going over to my parent's house tonight to surprise my dad with an early Father's Day dinner. They went on a cruise a couple months ago and got all the boys matching outfits, so the boy cousins will wear those.
Tomorrow we'll be swapping out an old chair and couch for a couch my in-laws are getting rid of. That depends on the weather, though.
I also need to ask DH what he wants to do for Father's Day.

Already hit up the farm store for some strawberries, locally made jam and honey. They have some goats, chickens and a donkey and a little play area that DD enjoyed. It's getting really hot, I may pull out the water table after her nap time.

Yay it's Friday! but it's only 3:00. I need a nap. We have a super busy weekend planned - cousins graduation party on saturday, MIL and nephew's bday on sunday (they have the same bday), DH wants to go to awesomecon on Saturday, look at houses on sunday with realtor? Dude. too much.
