blackmamba, thanks! I have a pretty big collection of babywearing wraps, but the one pictured is my "splurge" handwoven wrap that I got to have some say in how it was woven. These were the shots the weaver took before she mailed it to me <3  rebeccabunch, belly wrapping is definitely a thing if you have any type of non-structured carrier (ring sling, woven wrap, stretchy wrap). Everyone here seems really busy lately! DD and I are just hanging out at the house working on potty training. She is doing great - just gets a little confused between gas and the actual need to go potty. I'm keeping my fingers crossed any regression when baby arrives will be a little one!
I've got a killer headache today. Finally succumbed to some Tylenol and sips of coke. Ready for bedtime here!

mkruparIt won't let me reply to you. Huh. Anyway: I think* you have to be a Amazon Prime member. You make an Amazon registry and fill out something for each of the categories Amazon lists. Once you've filled out - literally any corresponding item like a bottle in the feeding section - then all you do is purchase $10 worth of stuff from the registry. They send you a welcome box with cool stuff in it. Spoilering for length my box has:
- Disposable diaper sample from Huggies and Seventh Gen
- Pampers diaper sample in a reusable clutch, with 2 dipes and sample wipes
- full sized huggies wipes (56 wipes)
- 4 oz Advent bottle
- 2 different brands of sample nursing pads
- dove baby wash sample
- aveeno baby lotion sample
- sunscreen sample
- full sized swaddle blanket

cythe, dang your box was better than mine. Only non-sample-sized thing was the bottle. I didn't get a swaddle blanket or the full sized wipes.

arimaythea That wrap is gorgeous....love love love it. I did a lot of babywearing with DS, but never ended up getting a woven wrap (I do have a really nice hand woven ring sling and a Lenny lamb conversion wrap carrier). I think I might sell the ring sling and get a woven like yours for this next baby. So pretty!

Not only the welcome box is pretty pissah but I think if you make a registry you get a completion coupon for like 10-15% off, DUMZ of course I need to make one now because we have a few things to get for LO that we would totally buy off there anyways

I mentioned this on Sunday, but target has a good registry bag right now too. Lots of samples, coupons, and a full size Dr. Brown bottle. That's what we used for DS, so it's nice to get another one.

I went to the costumer service desk and told them I started a registry online, and they grabbed a bag for me. I did go by the kiosk and printed out a copy, just in case, but she didn't look at it. |
