So when can babies sleep on their belly. I swear the reason why DD doesn’t sleep well is because she prefers her stomach and that is why she wants to sleep on me all night.

DS is still doing his annoying up every hour from 4am on. So this morning after his 4am feed I put him in the swing and he slept until 630, which I'll take. However, I don't want to have to put him in the swing every morning to get him to sleep, I just want to kind of reset him from having to be up and eat at those times. Anywho, if you made it through that, how many days do you think I need to do the swing thing to maybe reset him? I am thinking I will try 3 and see how it goes from there. L did this for a while a couple weeks ago. She stopped on her own within a week. She'd also just go back to sleep on me in the recliner and would sleep for 2-3 more hrs but that was less sustainable for me than sleeping on the couch next to the swing.

So when can babies sleep on their belly. I swear the reason why DD doesn’t sleep well is because she prefers her stomach and that is why she wants to sleep on me all night. The day DD1 rolled to her belly during a nap she became a phenomenal sleeper so I believe it. I wouldn’t put baby down on their belly before that though.

I have no idea but report back because my DS does the exact same thing. After 3 or 4 I’m up every 30-60 minutes with him and it’s getting old!

I have left F down on his belly for a nap occasionally, but only when he's fallen asleep during tummy time and I'm right there to supervise

Oh I wasn’t putting her down like that. She falls asleep on me on her stomach all the time. Then when I put her in the crib, etc and flip her she always wakes up.
DD did put her on her stomach for a nap yesterday when we were at clinic with DD. We were in the room with her the entire time and it was the best nap she ever had.

I am seriously counting the days until we can sleep train. She only sleeps well on me. So my nights are spent sleeping in the recliner.
