i sent C to day care in training pants and like 4 extra pairs of shorts.
Saw Jurassic World yesterday afternoon. It was good! It's getting some bad reviews and I am sitting over here thinking you all are idiots. It's a dinosaur movie and fits right into the franchise. And Chris Pratt.

I rarely read reviews for movies, and never before I see them if I’m going to theatre. But I should say I watch a lot of movies regardless of whether they are well reviewed and the majority are on iTunes or Netflix. We are currently waiting for the recycling and compost trucks to pass so we can sunscreen and head to the park. The kids NEED to be at the window to watch...

I don't know what these people are expecting. It's dinosaurs. There are moments I had my hands to my face and was cringing. Like noooo, ahhhh, omg i can't believe that just happened. It was everything you'd want and expect from a Jurassic Park movie.
Maybe I have low expectations so I'm not disappointed.

Isaac has sports camp. It’s only 1.5 hrs so I have no idea what Ethan and I will do during that time. It takes 10-15 min to get there so coming home would probably be silly. I was thinking a park but it rained this morning and everything is wet.

Were you stalking me this morning?
There is a mom in Littlest’s Mommy and Me gymnastics class. I realized this weekend why she looked so familiar- she looks like Alexis Bledel. So naturally I went down that Google rabbit hole.

Highly doubtful. The kid in the class is I think a little younger than what her son would be. I’ll have to pay more attention to her husband as well. Too bad we are going to be taking the next few weeks off.

C was on his 5th pair of training pants and last pair of shorts when i picked him up yesterday. he was also crying because he was sitting on the potty and a fly landed on him. OMG, it was the end of the world. He also pee'd probably 50 ounces once we got home...dude does not like the toilet at school.
I have a fun meeting at the bldg dept on permitting this morning...and swim lessons tonight.

My cousin had a chainsaw blade fly through her windshield yesterday while driving 70+mph on the expressway from the vehicle in front of her. She's ok, but I'm still shaking my head about it.

RunsforWineandCarbs, ds has been in underwear at DC since last week. Dude refuses to poop on the toilet, so those accidents have been extra fun to clean when those clothes are sent home. He'll pee any time you tell him too, but he's still not at the point of telling anyone he has to go #1 or #2. And funny you mention the fly in the bathroom; dd was peeing last week when we got home and a crane fly must have followed us in and went in the bathroom with her. OMG, I've never heard such a shrill scream from her before. She was so panicked that she pulled almost the whole roll of TP off while trying to wipe as quick as possible and run.

I'm off Friday. H has his colonoscopy in the morning so I have to drive him. This is the final test from the whole appendix growth scare earlier in the year. He was told if there was one growth like that, there are most likely others, so things have been tense around the BTL house this week. He is super nervous. And on Saturday I have my twin cousins graduation party at 6PM, so H said he would stay home with the kids. He wants to lay low for the weekend and I don't blame him. The kids would end up being a hot mess anyways, so just my mom and I are going to go. I'm looking forward to a night out down on the water. I just bought these 2 dresses. Hopefully I'll wear one of them to the party:

Betweenthelines, ok i understand your dd's scream....C was screaming at an everyday little fly. lol. He won't poop on the potty either, i hear it's a boy thing. everytime i put pull ups on he is like i can poop in pull ups and real diapers right mommy no poop in training pants. and he will take his tp's off and bring you a pull up when he needs to poop. Kid also knows when he needs to pee, he just doesn't want too. he will be out of diapers by his birthday.

Betweenthelines, junk flying through the windshield is one of my biggest fears. I'm glad she is okay.

Betweenthelines, jesus!! That is terrifying. RunsforWineandCarbs, DD won't poop either. She has the pee down but will request a diaper when she needs to poop. I have tried to get her to go and she just won't! She gives herself stomach aches over it. I am also hoping for training by birthday. DS was easy to train and was trained by now so I'm like ugghhh come onnnnn haha.

P does great on the potty at daycare. We're more hit or miss at home. But I'm also not great about asking her if she needs to go. Yesterday, unprompted, she did tell me she needed to use the potty to go peepee, and she did, and her pull ups were dry. So she's getting there. She also busted in on me peeing in the bathroom, and then wanted to "help me" by giving me tp.
