Why do people ask you if you've decided on a name if they're not prepared to lie/make a b.s. statement if they don't like it? "We've decided on Evelyn" "Oh" Really? Oh? That's why I don't like telling anyone what then name is until they're born. Live and learn I suppose. I mean, I'm not mad. I don't expect everyone to like the name, just as I don't like every name I hear. I'm just laughing because I think there has to be a more thought out response somewhere in their head besides Oh, lol. People are weird. |

Bought a bunch of cute things at Carter's!! 2 outfits, 8 onesies/kimono tops, 2 sleepers, and 6 pants. Need some more sleepers and socks/booties I think, but otherwise should be okay for a bit  |

I have a lot of complaints today. Amazon emailed on Friday to tell me that my baby box has shipped! Woo hoo!
Today, expecting my baby box on my doorstep I see it's estimated arrival time is next week. Wtf Amazon? 2 day shipping, man!

I won't let cythe be alone in her complaints. I can't find any crib bedding in the theme I want (construction theme) for this nursery and it's driving me more crazy than it should. Can a girl please get a construction-themed sheet that doesn't look like a bunch of clipart is pasted on it? |

I used to get my diapers from diapers.com because they USED TO plug 1 day shipping. This was maybe 2.5/3 years ago. I'd always wait until the last minute, order, get the email that they'd arrive the next day but they wouldn't show up until the day after. This happened 3 times before I called and let them have it. I was pregnant with DS2 at the time and raging. I was all THIS IS A SCAM. To this day I've never ordered from them again. |

I fell in love with some PBK bedding on Pinterest only to find out it is no longer carried. So of course nothing else is "as good" as that. I'm way too picky about something that matters so little. |

cythe, don't listen to anybody. Evelyn is a lovely name! I need to replace my phone before it dies. I see that Target is running a deal for a $250 giftcard if you buy an iPhone 7, but I'm a Samsung girl. Does anyone know of any Samsung deals?

rebeccabunch Oh hey! Just catching up. It went really well, thank you for asking! DS did ok, but is super run down from the busyness/less than normal amount of sleep due to sharing a room with other people. The wedding itself was beautiful! We were at a resort on a lake, so the ceremony was right on the beach. It was a really fun, but I'm so happy to be home.

I was there last summer because I had to go to a toga party (true story just go with it) and I remember seeing super cute construction fabric that I thought my DS1 would love. Maybe you could find something cute online and direct an etsy person to buy it and pay them for the fabric. Just a thought. I've cared more about your bedding today than my kids for their entire lives. |

Oh and a big WTF to the checkout lady at Walmart this weekend. She looked at my belly and said "when are you... " and then didn't finish it. I know what she meant by the eyeing of my belly and so whatever, I told her October she replied with a "oh - you still have a ways I guess." I didn't really have an appropriate response to that... This happened to me on Friday! A woman yelled across a parking lot to me, "Wow, you look like you're about to pop!" I was like, "Um, not until October. Thanks." Her eyes got huge and then she ran to her car. |

You spiral down a rabbit hole of fabric and whatever you can get at Joann, you can get it from there unless it's a Joann exclusive but still so much more options! Also don't talk to me about yarn!
