carrots, They were unsure if DD1 was going to level up. If she hadn't, I would be in the water with A from 11:30-12, and then her class would have been from 12-12:230. How could I get her to use the potty before class. Who would keep an eye on her during that 30 minutes? We also didn't want to do a "family swim day" because... well, someone has to mow the lawn! I brought this up to the swim school and the manager said that DD1 could sit at the front desk with her and color. And the manager knows exactly the kind of... curious kid DD1 is. So, I thought that was incredibly kind. Luckily, she moved up a level. But it's good to know that in the future, this is a possible option. I would bring them dunking donuts every week if that ever happened!

I may try to find a new place for swim in the fall the classes are right at the start of nap time and she gets so fussy.
E has her 18 month appointment next Friday. I worry she has t gained much weight she has been eating less the past few weeks. I'm looking forward to the warmer weather this week in the 80's some days. 18 month sleep regression is no joke E was up for over 2 1/2 hours last night. Sometimes crying sometimes chattering in her crib but she cried if H or I left the room. Hoping tonight is not a repeat.
