I have not found a good foundation for me. I've been using Makeup forever and it does not do the job. I've tried a Maybelline one as well and it oxidizes and become 2 shades too deep for me. I have rosacea on my cheeks and extremely dry skin and both the foundations that I have right now highlight it all. I've also been using a BB cream for extra moisture under my foundation.
So any recs that have worked for you?

How’s your skin prep routine? I have really dry skin and I swear by Josie Maran. I use her Argan oil as my moisturizer and her Argan Milk serum as well. I love her vibrancy foundation. She has an infinity cream oil that is amazing for a pick me up during the day too if I notice my skin is drying out.

I use a face oil by perfectly posh, then I do the Neutrogena hydroboost gel/cream, and a burts bees sensitive skin face lotion. And I exfoliate maybe 3 times a week, otherwise my rosacea freaks out.

I'll use the eucerin eczema cream too sometimes if I'm feeling particularly dry.

remi Have you tried going into Sephora, getting color matched, telling them your concerns and then getting all the samples?

How long do you wait to apply makeup?
I find it beneficial to moisturize, then come back 10 minutes later to apply BB cream.
I'm also going to try a setting spray rather than a powder.

remi Have you tried going into Sephora, getting color matched, telling them your concerns and then getting all the samples? I did go to Sephora and a girl helped me to find the Makeup Forever which she said worked well for her dry skin and she "color matched" me but when I got home and put it on it was waaaaaayyyy orange on me. I just got the IT cosmetics CC cream and its covered my redness and so far today it hasn't clung to my dry spots too horribly, and hasn't separated on my cheeks like the makeup forever does. I'm hoping this will be my golden ticket.

The IT CC cream is my favorite.
I use Philosophy Renewed Hope in a Jar-dry and Philosophy Time in a Bottle serum which both help a ton. The Time in Bottle will fix my flaking in 2 days using it twice per day.
Unfortunately, pregnancy has made my dry skin a million times worse and I can't find anything to fix it. If I put anything on the apples of my cheeks they are flaking and peeling within 10 minutes.
