DD is up at first daylight, which is around 6am these days, I'm going to have to find some sort of alternative black out method for her window for the next few months. DH took the day off work, Anatomy scan at 9:30, then shopping lunch and Wonder Woman.

Yay for A/S!
We need to go see Wonder Woman. I also want to catch Guardians before it's out of the theaters.

August Blooms gl on your a/s! Super jealous of you seeing Wonder Woman... I doubt I'll get to see a movie before H gets home. I saw Beauty and the Beast in theaters... and that feels like forever ago. Woke up for my 3am (pst here) bladder emptying session and can't go back to sleep....

Hi all. I slept so hard last night that I didn't wake up one time to use the bathroom. And then I almost didn't make it to the bathroom when my alarm went off. More training today, taking up most of my day. Looking forward to tomorrow when I only work half a day and then my weekend begins!

Today was an exciting day for us - DH signed a lease on a new place for us to live. It ticked all the boxes and is pretty much everything we were looking for. Lots of other expat families in the building too, with plenty of family-friendly events/parties each year. I am sure we all will make lots of new friends. Yay!
We can't move in until mid-July, because there are tenants in the unit, but I am okay with that. The temporary executive stay place we're in is totally fine and I'm not in a rush to move again. I am looking forward to getting all of our stuff out of storage though - it'll be like Christmas in July!

Everyone that had nausea in the beginning - did you ever have it overnight? I woke up around 2 and 4 with legit nausea feelings. I've never been nauseous with my other other pregnancies but it's been coming and going a bit this time. Anyway, it's still there now. I'm wondering if I'm catching my boys stomach bug from last week or just traveling because it's gross of if it's pregnancy related.
I'm just sitting here waiting for the stomach flu wrath to start but maybe it's just a symptom I'm not used to? The overnight/interrupting my sleep stuff seems weird.

I was never woken up out of sleep for nausea, but I would be nauseated when I did wake up. It was pretty much an all day thing for me.

This isn't logical but right now I'd rather it be a pregnancy symptom (possibly nauseous daily for the next 6 weeks or so) instead of the 24 hour flu. I'm so worried about a virus messing something up so early in my pregnancy.
ETA - mkrupar and everyone else that was queasy big ups to you because it must be so hard to continue with your life each day when you constantly feel like you might puke.

rebeccabunch Yes, this definitely happened to me - both pregnancies. I actually needed to keep a snack by my bedside (saltines or graham crackers), so I could eat that when the nausea hit me at midnight/2am/4am...whenever it happened to strike. DH would get so irritated hearing me munch on stuff at 2am, but I was like - would you rather be woken up by the sound of me hurling? So, for me, what you are describing sounds pregnancy related. I hope you aren't catching your boys' stomach bug!

Great suggestion about the crackers on my night stand! PSA to all. My breakfast was the Panera Mediterranean breakfast sandwich. They have really good breakfast sandwiches if you have a Panera by you but never tried their breakfast sandwiches.

I'm trying to figure out if I can pull off watching the Comey testimony and working at the same time. I put in a real poor performance yesterday evidenced by my constant statements of boredom and nap attempts.
ETA - I'm watching. Well, more of listening. It's working out. If there's a movie, Coach Eric Taylor (Kyle Chandler) should play Comey.

rebeccabunch That's how I would feel when I ate during pregnancy nausea. Like...definitely didn't want to eat, felt nauseous while eating, but once I got something down, I did feel better (even though the overall nausea would still linger). ETA: Yes - sleepy time coming up here. I am lame and go to bed around 9 or 9:30pm every night...

It's a rainy, cold day today and its really making me want to curl up and take a nap.
I'll take a few days of this though over the 90 it's been for the last 1.5 months.

It's a good thing i make cute kids.

Anatomy scan went well, they got all their images but couldn't conclusively tell us the sex... Maybe it's a girl? I'm scheduled for a growth scan at 28 weeks so I'll get them to check then, otherwise we'd have to wait until the baby's born since my midwives don't do any ultrasounds past 20 weeks unless there's an issue.
Took DH shopping for some new clothes and we are on our way to lunch and the movie now. I'm trying to catch up on the Comey testimony on the drive.

August Blooms glad everything looked good but sorry about not being able to find out the sex! I can imagine that this would be super frustrating if you have been anticipating knowing that information today. Come back and review WW for us. I'm glad that movie is doing so well and getting great reviews.

Regarding the baby movement discussion the other day, I feel like this baby is very "deep" in my belly. Does that make sense? For example, a lot of times I know he is moving because I feel him kicking/sitting/playing drums on my bladder. But, I don't feel any movements, just sensations to my bladder. Other times, I feel distinct movement that feels like a huge roll or turn, but I don't see him from the outside like I did with DD. It's so strange. I'm going to ask about it at my 30-week ultrasounds, but I'm really just blaming my placenta placement at this point.

Busy day of working from home and trying to fold laundry between meetings thatgirlrachel, I know exactly the sensation you're talking about! I have an anterior placenta so it's pretty much the norm. Occasionally I'll feel something on the outside but very rarely and only recently (I'm 22 weeks tomorrow).

Unless I'm wrong, I'm really surprised my midwife or u/s tech didn't mention it before. I'm glad I have one more u/s where I can ask to see if I'm right.

codex320, sorry you're stuck at your desk! That is the worst. I've been taking walks mid-morning (we have a walking trail on our campus) just to get some sunshine. It feels good to my soul. There's a conference in town nearly everyone in my office is attending today. It is not geared toward my job so I'm WFH today. I'm currently sitting on our deck and I can feel that I need to go inside soon. My skin is SO sensitive while I'm pregnant. I'm sending some rays your way codex320!

CoachTsWife, I try to take at least 2 walks during the day since I work in a town center. It's really nice with all the shops around. There is just too much work to do!!

I didn't have issues with severe nausea/throwing up first tri - though I was queasy most of the time and had issues with eating/aversions. However, I did have some overnight bouts of nausea, usually worse than my daytime queasiness. I attributed it to stemming from the fact that in the middle of the night, I was farthest away from a recent mealtime, so the empty stomach made it worse.
