How far along are you? EDD? 20w 4d. 7/19.
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically - I started having a lot of BH last Wednesday. I ended up going to the hospital to be monitored. I saw my dr Friday and luckily my cervix is still long and closed. I'm on mild bed rest I guess. No lifting, working out, sex, limit stairs and bending and just take it easy. I'm still having BH, back pain, and pressure. But I'm hoping for the best.
Emotionally - trying not to spiral or freak out too much about the above.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? Wednesday to check in.
Any other word vomit to share?
QotW: What is your favorite or easy go-to meal to make? Chicken noodle casserole. So good

How far along are you? EDD? 5w5d, Halloween
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically fine except so.tired. Like falling asleep at my desk (literally) tired. Except between the hours of 3-6 am. Then I can't sleep to save my life. Emotionally, just nervous and trying not to think about it as much as possible. Peeing on sticks every couple of days to try not to lose my mind until my u/s next week.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? First u/s a week from Wednesday.
Any other word vomit to share? Have I mentioned I'm tired?
QotW: What is your favorite or easy go-to meal to make? When you say "make" - does throwing frozen salmon burgers in the toaster oven count? No? Hmmm... then I guess tacos? I make my own seasoning, cook the meat and cut up the veggies and then it's up to the eater. I mix mine into a taco salad, DH usually makes actual tacos in a soft wrap, and DS throws most of it on the floor for the dogs.

Crap, notmoose, that's scary. I'm sorry. Do the doctors have any idea how long it will last or if it will go away?

Holy shit it's Monday again. How did that happen!?
How far along are you? EDD? 23w2d, June 30
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Good and good. Heartburn, sore hips, a little trouble sleeping, but I seem to have figured out my meds for the moment so that "blah" feeling I was having is pretty well gone.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? I don't have another one until April 5 now
Any other word vomit to share? Ohhhh boy, here goes. Sorry, this is going to be a book. So, I had a big busy day on Thursday with all of my appointments. I was literally at the hospital for 4 hours lol. So, first things first, I got to finally talk to another doctor in the OB clinic, and I brought up the fact again that I believe a C section would be best for me, given the family history of CPD. Turns out she's the doctor who does elective C's, so we discussed it a little bit, and we'll make the final decision at my 32 week appointment, but I basically have a date now to have little man as long as everything keeps going the way it is.
Then I had my appointment with my high risk doctor. It's mostly just a check in, how's it going really informal type of thing, but he asked me to remind him where I work and told me that with the type of work I do, he'd likely put me off at 34 weeks, MAX 36. I decided on my own to go ahead and pick a date half way in between and I'm going to talk to my boss and let her know this week.
Then we went for the ultrasound. They were short a tech, so I was sitting there FOREVER with a full bladder, and of course the moment I get up to let a little out she comes to get me lol. Anyways, I hop on the table, and at first little man was still facing the wrong way, but just a minute in he decided to flip, and we finally got pictures of his heart, yay! I was booked for a half hour, and that only took 10 minutes, so I asked her if I could possibly see his face while I was there anyways, and she went ahead and found it for me and he was so adorable just sitting there sucking his thumb. If I could love this kid any more already... Annnd, okay, I THINK that's it lol
QotW: What is your favorite or easy go-to meal to make? I usually go for some kind of curry. I don't really use a recipe, so it's a little different every time based on what I have in the house. Recently it's been fries and (fill in the blank). The other night I made chili cheese fries and they were soooooo good.

How far along are you? EDD? 13+5, 9/5
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically better, still a mish mash of symptoms but manageable. Emotionally fine.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? Saw an active baby on a 13 week scan so that was nice, out of first tri. Still have a long way to go.

QotW: What is your favorite or easy go-to meal to make? I make a really delicious spaghetti with meat sauce so that’s a go to for me at least once a month.

Crap, notmoose, that's scary. I'm sorry. Do the doctors have any idea how long it will last or if it will go away? Thanks. No, he basically said he doesn't know why I'm having them but he thinks they will go away. He did say I could miscarry still (which sent me into hysterics) but doesn't think it's likely, especially since as of Friday my cervix was good. I'll probably be seeing him more often unless/until they go away.

notmoose sorry for all the BH! Hopefully taking it easy for a bit will calm everything down and you’ll have a downright boring rest of your pregnancy!

How far along are you? EDD? I’m gonna say 4w5d, nov 7th (subject to change upon first appt)
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically fine, if not a little tired. Emotionally still kind of numb.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? I got my second beta today - 394 from 64 on Thursday, so doubling time of 37 hours. I’m hoping that good news will last me until our first appt in April
Any other word vomit to share? Still nervous for spotting every time I use the bathroom, and hyper aware of every ute twinge.
QotW: What is your favorite or easy go-to meal to make? Pulled buffalo chicken! Put chicken breasts, Franks red hot, and ranch seasoning in a slow cooker all day. Serve on rolls or over salad. Delicious, and so very easy!

notmoose, I am sorry to hear about your troubles with BH contractions. Maybe you can ask your doc about magnesium supplements? There is some evidence that could reduce contractions and it is more or less harmless to try. I'll do a proper check-in tomorrow, because it's been a day here, with remnants of a power outage from the weekend.
