The worst month of the year. At least it is when I'm teaching. It feels so long and the weather is gross in all the states I've lived in. Today is keeping up that tradition with lots of rain. Ds has a play date at an indoor gym today. At least he'll burn off some energy.

Nooooooo I love March! My birthday, our anniversary, daylight savings, and in GA it does turn to spring. I’m so pumped for winter to be close to over!
Rainy here today and both kids were bears to get out of the house for daycare. M was up crying for no reason from 3-4. So I’m treating myself to a breakfast sandwich and extra coffee!

I'm jealous that you have fun things in March carrots! Late winter/early spring is a whole bunch of nothing for me. Plus the north. I'd consider moving but I love fall and winter. March is just so wet and brown up here.

Yea not a huge fan of March here it's going to be a long month with mil gone all month.
We registered E at daycare. She cried when she got in the building when she saw what will be her classroom she was all excited to see other kids and new toys. We rated for about half an hour but we stayed in the room. I was glad she was eager to get down and play though. We will see how that changes when we leave.

Soooo anybody thinking about another baby? I had my annual this morning and being at my OB’s office gave me all the feelings. Like I don’t want to get pregnant now, but I’m really starting to worry that I will regret it if we don’t have another baby. And I’ve spent the last year trying to convince myself that I’m ok with being done. H is very happy being done with 2 so I’m nervous to suggest a 3rd to him. Sorry for the word vomit.

carrots that has to be such a hard decision. I am on bcp I hate it so much. It's a reminder that I'm done with having kids. We agreed to wait until I was 40 to make any permanent decision so 1 1/2 yes left. I thought about an iud so I don't have to think about it in worried we will change our mind. I so waiver between being 100% ok with being done and sometimes doubt creeps in. Sadly there will always be my girls missing my family will always feel incomplete I don't know if another baby will ever solve that Sorry for my word vomit. These thoughts go through my head every night I take that stupid pill.

I'm ready for 100 more babies. But we are firm in our decision that our family is now complete with our 2 perfect girls. It's a tough pill to swallow, and I will always miss having a little baby to snuggle. But hopefully A will snuggle well into toddlerhood, unlike her sister, who is not snuggly at all. However, for us, it's a matter of limited finances, limited time and limited patience. We don't personally feel we could expand our family and still be as happy. That's mostly due to the limited patience... peaseblossom55, I don't know how to say what I want regarding how difficult it must be to always be missing your girls. So I will just say that I think they know how loved they are.

judyblume14 thanks. Don't mean for it to be a downer sorry. I also think for us finances, work, patience all come into play too. H and I are old too. 😝

And this is just the place to express those feelings! I'm a touch younger than you, but if i were to be pregnant again, I'd be AMA. I cannot believe the term "geriatric" pregnancy exists!!!

Thanks for sharing your feelings guys. I feel like I’m surrounded by women who are confident that they’re done at 2 (most of my friends have had their 2nd babies in the last year or so) and I feel like missing that feeling means I should explore a 3rd more. It’s nice to know I wouldn’t be alone if I stick with being done at 2 even though I would love to have a 3rd. Real world practicalities are no joke and definitely our biggest deterrent. Another baby would be a lot of money, time, energy, and stress. peaseblossom55 my heart hurts knowing your girls aren’t in your arms.

carrots, we are "confident" that we're done from a practical perspective. We've said though, that if we could keep our salaries, but drop to part time... we'd def have a 3rd. Sadly, that is 99% unlikely. Wah.

I really, really like the idea of a third but do worry about my energy/patience. Mh is firmly done at two for the practical reasons of space and money. It would be a financial lifestyle change to add a third. I really enjoy being pregnant and having a tiny baby, despite all the puking and late night wake ups.

Crazy windy overnight. Rain/snow/more wind this morning. Seems to be calming down now, which is good because I forgot my lunch and will have to go out this afternoon.

Our power went out at 4:30pm. Public transportation is like 75% shut down. Mh might be stranded. I'm rushing around trying to feed the kids pouches and pb&j before we lose what little daylight there is. Do not want to be feeding a baby by flashlight.

We're at a Panera's in the next town over right now for coffee and breakfast. The house was 55 this morning. Sleeping was fine. Everyone had double pjs and down blankets. There's lots of trees down. A neighbor on either side of me had one go down. My inlaws still have power but are boxed in by downed trees in the road. So we could drive to their neighborhood and then walk to their house. Last night the estimate was tonight by 5pm but now it says their estimating the damage. The news says it could be days 😬

It will be nice to shower and charge all the devices/battery packs. Sil is already at my inlaws so it's going to be tight and we won't have a bed. I'd rather be chilly and sleep in my own bed instead of the couch! But it will be too cold for the kids tonight if it doesn't come back on. Maybe I should send mh and the kids, it will be like a northern spa retreat! The alone time is tempting...

Glad you’re safe & the power is back Lakes! We are so lucky. There was just an announcement from our politicians and power company. They expect only 70% of my county's residents to have power back by Tuesday night and everyone else Wednesday and Thursday. 😱 Our grocery store doesn't have power, neither does the township/police building. Although I'm sure the police are utilizing a generator. There are still so many traffic lights out and trees all over the place. I just saw that they're tracking another potential nor'easter that could hit us on Wednesday depending where the two systems meet. There are so many trees that are partially down or caught on stuff that getting more wind makes me nervous. My last count was three down between my two neighbors. Our park is trashed. It didn't look like any hit the actual playground but there were several huge trees and tons of branches down. It made me so sad.

E's nose is a runny mess today. I am hoping it's just teething. We went to BJ's yesterday, E was fixated with this minnie mouse toy she saw. So we let her hold it while we shopped, H decided to buy it for her and she loved it yesterday This morning we show it to her again, she was crying and so upset by it, we had to hide it in the closet and shut the door. So weird.

I see we're all in the same boat. My kids also have faucets for noses and I woke up with a stuffy nose and sore throat.
I'm as ready as I can be for the next storm which starts tonight. I loaded up on the kids favorite snacks in case the power goes out again. The meteorologist I trust the most is predicting 8-12" of wet, heavy snow the last I checked. I'm loving the amount of snow but nervous about all the half downed trees from last weekend. A lot of people still don't have power and public transportation isn't 100% running yet.

Yep, after 3 glorious weeks of no one being sick M woke up with a runny nose and cough yesterday. And it’s only a matter of time until DS gets it since they now think it’s hilarious to drink from each other’s water bottles 🙄
In good news, M is now drinking from a cup! Granted it’s a soft spout cup, but it’s progress! I got rid of all the bottles and pump stuff and it feels so good!
And H and I talked about being done having babies and I’m feeling more settled about being done. Especially since the kids were absolute bears the next day and I could barely handle the 2 of them!

carrots, we drinking from sippies now, too. I sent my pump to a friend, and gave away all my bottles on a local facebook swap! Good luck with the weather, Lakes. We're only supposed to get 3 or 4 inches of snow this round.

Lakes good luck with the snow. I think I am in the 3-5 inches range, I am already working from home tomorrow. Ughh confession- E still gets a bottle at night. It's only 4 ounces of milk, we are slowly weaning away. I'm hoping in the next week or so to be done.
