Hello! The PGAL check in is posted on Mondays. If it is Monday and you would like to post it, please feel free.
How far along are you? EDD?
How are you feeling physically and emotionally?
Any upcoming appointments or milestones?
Any other word vomit to share?
QotW: Did you make a New Year's resolution last month? If so, have you stuck with it so far?

How far along are you? EDD? 33 weeks, RCS 4-4-18
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically my biggest obstacle has been some pretty bad carpal tunnel. The pain has been quite unbearable and nothing I am doing has been helping. Otherwise just the normal pregnancy aches and pains.
Emotionally, I have some horrible anxious moments in the MOTN. Just counting down the days. 44 more to go until his arrival. Any upcoming appointments or milestones? Next appointment is the 27th.
Any other word vomit to share?
I don't think so.
QotW: Did you make a New Year's resolution last month? If so, have you stuck with it so far? My resolution was to be less anxious and learn to relax more. I think it's safe to say that I have not stuck with it! Womp, womp.

mattsgirl2004 sorry your are struggling with the pain of carpal tunnel, is this something you deal with just during pregnancy or do you have it even when not pregnant? How far along are you? EDD? 11+5, 9/5 How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically about the same, a little more soreness in my legs and body. Emotionally feeling good struggling with general anxiety... my poor DH gets the brunt of the emotional rollercoaster. Any upcoming appointments or milestones? Had a good appointment last week, will have an ultrasound at about 13 weeks and am counting down to seeing what’s going on. Any other word vomit to share? Struggling with anxiety, I know I need to get back on my bike or commit to walking at the local track, but by the end of the day I am so tired. I’m disappointed in myself in this regard. QotW: Did you make a New Year's resolution last month? If so, have you stuck with it so far? I wanted to watch less tv... canceled Netflix just for a little while and I haven’t missed it yet. I probably had other goals I just don’t know that I wrote them down.

How far along are you? EDD? 40+4, 2/15 😒
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically I’m sore all over. My hips and pelvis especially are clearly tired of carrying my large self around. Emotionally I’m both impatient and nervous. I want to get on with it, but I’m also not excited for childbirth and the sleep deprivation, etc. etc. I’m not someone who can really picture the baby and feel truly attached before he gets here, so while I know that “this is all worth it” feeling will come, I’m struggling with not being super nervous about all the difficult parts.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? Induction is scheduled for Wednesday. They haven’t called me with instructions or to confirm, which is irritating. I don’t want to call and bug them about it, but I would like to know everything is set and when and where I’m supposed to go. I am supposedly going in tomorrow night, then the induction process starts very early Wednesday morning.
Any other word vomit to share? I have zero energy right now. I’m trying not to put everything on DH but I’m struggling. Almost there.
QotW: Did you make a New Year's resolution last month? If so, have you stuck with it so far? No New Years resolution this year. I felt like anything I could come up with was going to come in second to adjusting to newborn and toddler life, and I didn’t want to put any extra pressure on myself that might lead to guilt later. I want to lose baby weight, clear out my kitchen drawers, etc... but I am not going to assume that stuff will happen as quickly as I’d like it to.

Don’t be too hard on yourself, mirabelle. As much as third tri is tiring, I wouldn’t trade it for that first tri exhaustion. I felt like I could barely function, so hard!

How far along are you? EDD? 17 Weeks - 07/30 How are you feeling physically and emotionally? I’m actually doing pretty good finally. Any upcoming appointments or milestones? Check up tomorrow Any other word vomit to share? I tried to my nightly dose of diclegis and woke up with nausea and vomiting. This is my only complaint. I will like at 17 weeks I should be over it. Oh well. QotW: Did you make a New Year's resolution last month? If so, have you stuck with it so far? No resolutions for me, I was still mad at the world for how sick I was feeling.

How far along are you? EDD? 21w2d, June 30
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically, lots of heartburn, occasional vomiting for some reason, exhaustion. Emotionally I'm okay, but since he's started moving more I get really nervous when I don't feel him for a little bit (see my last post from last weeks check in)
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? I have a follow up A/S tomorrow. Can't wait to see little man!
Any other word vomit to share? I'm starting to get worried about MH and his moods. He's been super grumpy for a while. He's also putting distance between himself and his mom again (she was abusive when he was younger but is completely different now) and I'm worried about how his relationship with her will affect F's relationship with his grandparents.
QotW: Did you make a New Year's resolution last month? If so, have you stuck with it so far? The only resolution I made is to have a healthy pregnancy and be the best mom that I can be. So far so good. I've managed to keep my weight gain down (5 lbs so far) which is making both me and doctors happy, since I was overweight to begin with.

mirabelle, I was still laying on the couch every day after work at that point, so you're doing better than me if you can actually stay conscious

Physically, lots of heartburn, occasional vomiting for some reason, exhaustion. I don't go here, just lurking wishfully, but I wanted to comment on this. Get your blood pressure checked out. Vomiting can be a symptom of low blood pressure. It was for me in second tri. So it's worth getting it looked at. Good luck!

I actually work at a nursing home and use their machine to check it every day =) I do have low-ish BP anyways due to low sodium, so I suppose that could be it.

mirabelle I'm glad that your most recent appointment went well! I hope your ultrasound in 2 weeks continues to offer you reassurance. Your anxiety is understandable, but I hope as things continue to progress that you're able to relax a little and enjoy. Sending you lots of hugs. ❤ The carpal tunnel is pregnancy related. I had it with my pregnancy with DD2, but only right at the end and not nearly this extreme.

Thanks ladies. I ended up deciding that feeling silly about bothering them was worth getting rid of the low level worry I was carrying around. The nurse who answered walked me through what the process would be and gave me an actual time they will call tomorrow and told me to call if it got later than that. Yay for having a plan!

It's early, but I'm pupo, so here goes: How far along are you? EDD? 3w6d, EDD is Halloween! (3 days before DS1's EDD 3 years ago) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? physically pretty normal still. I felt nauseous on Sunday but that might have just been because I ate to much at my birthday dinner the night before. Emotionally - depends on the minute. I am so excited but still so scared. I am trying to be happy and enjoy it while it lasts, because not enjoying it now won't make a m/c any easier later. Any upcoming appointments or milestones? blood test #2 tomorrow morning, and #3 on Friday. Any other word vomit to share? nope QotW: Did you make a New Year's resolution last month? If so, have you stuck with it so far? No real resolutions, but I have been trying to make healthy changes like getting 30 minutes of exercise 5 days per week (this is mostly for my work's wellness incentive program, but hey, whatever works!), and eating more raw veggies (in smoothie form), and so far, so good! mattsgirl2004 I had bad carpal tunnel with my first. I'm sorry, it's no fun snowyowl tomorrow? SO exciting!

Went to my follow up A/S today and little man is STILL the wrong way. He's laying on his belly, and absolutely refused to turn around, so I have to go back AGAIN next week to try once more to get pictures of his heart. Good news is, though, that my ultrasound pictures from last week were ready =D Here he is, with his hands in his mouth lol {Spoiler}

How far along are you? EDD? 18w 5d. 7/19.
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? My back hurts all the time. I expect that though, I have a bad back. Emotionally I'm good the past several days. My due date with my loss is this Saturday, so that's been weighing on my mind.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? Next appt is 3/9.
Any other word vomit to share? I called the Dr yesterday to get official results from my ultrasound. Everything looks good with baby, amniotic fluid, placenta, and cervix. As of now, we are doing great and baby is completely perfect. I am so relieved and happy. Baby is transverse and measured along with what I thought my due date was (7/21) but idk if they'll change it to that or not since it's only 2 days.
QotW: Did you make a New Year's resolution last month? If so, have you stuck with it so far? I didn't make one.

Speedy I'm curious what name you've picked for baby, if you don't mind sharing? (Unless I read your post wrong and you weren't referring to baby as F) snowyowl Good luck tomorrow!

How far along are you? EDD? 11w1d, EDD - 9/10
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? To be honest, I'm not doing so well emotionally at the moment. My first tri symptoms all seem to have disappeared and I keep having light spotting.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? We have an appt tomorrow thank goodness.
Any other word vomit to share? tomorrow can't get here soon enough. I know as the placenta grows, symptoms typically start to dissipate, but add on the spotting that comes and goes every few days, I can't help but worry. The last week it's been on and off spotting, nothing heavy at all, just light pink when wiping or a brown tinge in discharge (TMI SORRY!!!) but until I can see this little one tomorrow and know s/he is doing okay, I'm gonna be on edge.
QotW: Did you make a New Year's resolution last month? If so, have you stuck with it so far? I didn't actually.....

How far along are you? EDD? 15 weeks and 1 day, August 13. How are you feeling physically and emotionally? I think I am OK on both fronts. I am having a surprising amount of RLP, and I don't remember that starting so early with my daughter. I also had a stressful week, including a one-time spotting event, which I panicked about. My OB saw me and all was well. I did bust out the doppler too, so hearing the heartbeat helps. I still can't believe that even by the most conservative estimates, I am squarely in the second trimester now. WOW! Any upcoming appointments or milestones? I have an early anatomy scan this Friday. We had a clear NIPT and NT scan, but declined any invasive testing. Given my anxiety, though, the MFM folks offered two Level II anatomy scans, at 16 and at 20 weeks, which is great. So this will be the first one of those. A little anxious, hoping for good news. Any other word vomit to share? Not really. I guess just that I wish I could fully enjoy the pregnancy. I am starting to come to terms with the fact that is impossible. QotW: Did you make a New Year's resolution last month? If so, have you stuck with it so far? No, none. Makes it easier not to fail DrHooch, so happy to see you here! Congratulations!! flyliceandcoffee, I hope tomorrow brings you comfort and good news. Waiting on the early appointments was torturous for me.

Speedy, I just wanted to warn you that your name was on your u/s picture! Glad F looks good, even if he's being a stinker for you. How far along are you? EDD? 34,4 EDD 3/30 How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically, I'm feeling fine. Normal sluggishness from being so pregnant, but yanno. Emotionally, also okay. Had a scare on Saturday night/Sunday early morning because Iggy hadn't moved much at all on Saturday, so we went into L&D. Baby is fine, of course, just hiding behind the placenta. Butthead. Any upcoming appointments or milestones? Thursday NST and Friday I'll be 35/35! Any other word vomit to share? Not really. I'm just excited to have a end date for work and my shower(s) this weekend to finally get all our shit set up and done with. QotW: Did you make a New Year's resolution last month? If so, have you stuck with it so far? I don't make resolutions, I've spent enough years ignoring them anyway. I just try to improve things incrementally as I go throughout the year.
