Hello! The PGAL check in is posted on Mondays. If it is Monday and you would like to post it, please feel free.
How far along are you? EDD?
How are you feeling physically and emotionally?
Any upcoming appointments or milestones?
Any other word vomit to share?
QotW: So Phil saw his own shadow on Friday, signalling 6 more weeks of winter. How accurate is that for your area and do you prescribe to the Philly native or your own local rodent?

How far along are you? EDD? 32,3 EDD 3/30 How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically, I'm just exhausted. All the time. Even right after I wake up following a long sleep, like on a weekend, I still want a nap! Emotionally, also pretty exhausted. I just don't feel like I have much time to decompress and destress from my life and it's starting to just wear me thin. It'd be nice to just have a day where I didn't have to think forward to things that still need to get done constantly. Any upcoming appointments or milestones? Appointment today for my first NST! Any other word vomit to share? I got told I gotta start taking insulin on Friday, so I get to stop by the pharmacy to pick that up before my NST today and learn how to use it. Wheeeee. Honestly, I'm actually kind of relieved at getting the insulin because it's been a huge stress on me trying to eat just right to get my numbers in a normal range. I'm looking forward to being able to eat like a normal person again instead of a meticulous, neurotic, carb-counting maniac. QotW: So Phil saw his own shadow on Friday, signalling 6 more weeks of winter. How accurate is that for your area and do you prescribe to the Philly native or your own local rodent? It's so off for my area. We've had early spring since last month. Rarely a temp has gotten lower than 45F in the past several weeks. I'm pretty sure we only had a week of winter at all, actually. Maybe two. I enjoy hearing what Phil predicts, but I prescribe more to the local hedgehog instead. Their weather prediction rate is higher and local, so...I have a hard time really getting into one part of the country predicting for all the rest of us.

How far along are you? EDD? 31 weeks, RCS April 4th
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically I'm miserable. Carpal tunnel in both hands. Sometimes the pain is unbearable. I started to wear wrists braces at night, which helps a little. Continued back and hip pain. I pretty much just hobble everywhere.
Emotionally I have good and bad moments. To be honest, I've been so wrapped up and consumed by other kids lately, I haven't had a lot of time to be anxious and worry. The MOTN is the worst time for me, as I tend to lay awake waiting for him to move and when he doesn't, my mind goes to the worst possible scenario.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? Appointment next week.
Any other word vomit to share? With 58 days to go, I'm starting to really feel the pressure to get stuff done before baby arrives.

I'm sure it will be accurate. In the past 5 years or so, we've had snow and colder temps all the way into the beginning of June. 😣

How far along are you? EDD? 9w5d 9/5
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? So bloated! Everywhere I am puffy. Hungry, eating too many carbs. Tired. Emotionally feeling good, just staying as busy as possible.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? Next week, hoping to hear a heartbeat, I can’t pick one up on my at-home doppler, but I’ve never been good at finding it so I’m not panicked.
Any other word vomit to share? I’ve started telling a few people I see weekly that I’m expecting again and more than one of them has shared their loss stories with me and some awful things that have happened to people they know. It’s so hard to hear and reconcile and I am at a loss for what to say. I try not to let these accounts keep me up at night.
QotW: So Phil saw his own shadow on Friday, signalling 6 more weeks of winter. How accurate is that for your area and do you prescribe to the Philly native or your own local rodent? I’ve always followed Phil out of Philly and I do believe we will see 6 more weeks of winter here and I think we will have more snowfall on the horizon.

How far along are you? EDD? 15 weeks. 07/30
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically I’m having more good days than bad. Same emotionally, thee have been days that I’ve questioned the sanity of having a second baby. But I’m feeling more positive and it seems like my negative feeling days are the days that I have morning sickness.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? Just my normal appointment scheduled at 17 weeks
Any other word vomit to share? See above.

The weather in my area has been in the 80’s so I consider Phil wrong. Lol

How far along are you? EDD? 19w2d, June 30
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically, I'm doing pretty good. I've been vomiting when I cough too much, and some heartburn, but my stomach is pretty steady. It's getting a little harder to bend over. And my poor bits are sore because of a complicated yeast infection, but healing.
Emotionally, not sleeping so good because of the pain so I'm a bit snippy, but overall pretty good. My anxiety was getting bad again but then baby decided to have a dance party at 1 in the morning, and I felt some undeniable outside kicks!
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? Anatomy scan next Monday! Yay!
Any other word vomit to share? Naps are my friends right now.

I tend to go more with the local groundhogs, and the two closest say early spring. So ready for it. There's been a big snafu with the power bills here being super high compared to normal, and they're blaming it on the fact that it's been cold, but in between the cold snaps we've had weather in the pluses and all the snow had melted.

How far along are you? EDD? 9w -- EDD 9/10.
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? At this exact moment, not too bad. I'm tired and the nausea comes and goes, but mostly tired now. I actually took a nap both Sat and Sun and I'm not usually one to nap. I also fell asleep on the couch before 10 both nights too.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? next appt isn't until the 20th or 21st. I am officially past our last MC date though (by both LMP and dating ultrasound measurements) so yay! That's helping me stay sane for sure.
Any other word vomit to share? Until this weekend I don't think it's really hit home that we're gonna have a 3rd kid. And then over the weekend, both kids were CRAZY and I started to panic.....
QotW: So Phil saw his own shadow on Friday, signalling 6 more weeks of winter. How accurate is that for your area and do you prescribe to the Philly native or your own local rodent? I have no idea really. CO weather is so random that I never put stock in any rodent's prediction. I mean, it was supposed to be close to 50 yesterday but instead it snowed and never got above freezing. so who knows. hahaha

How far along are you? EDD? 16w 5d. 7/19
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically - getting over the flu 🤒🤧😷 Besides that I'm having blood sugar issues if I don't eat for more than a couple hours. I get shakey, nauseous, headache. It happened at Meijer the other day and I ended up downing a Dr pepper and waiting for the shaking to stop so I could drive home. Emotionally - okay this week. I had a really bad dream last night though about the baby and I can't get it out of my head. Trying to convince myself it's not a bad omen or anything.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? I have a regular check up tomorrow.

QotW: So Phil saw his own shadow on Friday, signalling 6 more weeks of winter. How accurate is that for your area and do you prescribe to the Philly native or your own local rodent? I don't pay a lot of attention to the groundhog. Doesn't mean much but I think it's a cute tradition. We likely will have 6 more weeks of winter here. Usually mid-march is when it starts easing up.

How far along are you? EDD? 38+5, 2/15
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Uuuuuugh. Physically I am sore and tired and huge. Various nurses and doctors keep telling me this is a big baby, and asking, “does he feel big? He seems very big.” 😑 Emotionally I am so ready to be done. My first arrived on 38+3 when I was prepared to go to 40. So I never got to the part where I was impatient. I tried not to get my hopes up about going that early again, but I’m already tapping my foot, so clearly not totally successful. I need to wait until my due date before I get this huffy! Right now I feel like most of my conversations involve a lot of me saying something snippy in my head, then translating it into a less rude reply before saying it out loud. My fuse is short.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? Weekly OB appt on Friday.
Any other word vomit to share? Two things: I am heartily tired of rolling myself out of bed onto my sore hips three times a night to pee. If one more coworker says, “oh my gosh! You are still here? I keep thinking you won’t be in the next day!” I’m going to lose it.
QotW: So Phil saw his own shadow on Friday, signalling 6 more weeks of winter. How accurate is that for your area and do you prescribe to the Philly native or your own local rodent? I think we are easily in for 6 more weeks of winter. March around here is not remotely a spring month.

How far along are you? EDD? 12 weeks tomorrow, EDD 8/23
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically I've been feeling blah. I think this has mainly to do with my diet. I was very careful about what I ate up until a couple of weeks ago when I relaxed a bit. I'm sure it's not a coincidence that I started feeling worse at that exact same time. So, I need to get some motivation to get back to being more careful with what I eat.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? 12 week appointment on Monday

QotW: So Phil saw his own shadow on Friday, signalling 6 more weeks of winter. How accurate is that for your area and do you prescribe to the Philly native or your own local rodent? I never pay attention to these things. I live in a part of the midwest where it's always winter until somewhere around May when the snow starts to melt.
