Anyone have any tips for being out and about with formula? Thus far I just carry the container and some bottles that may or may not have water in them already. I've seen containers sold that you can pre-measure formula in but I'm not sure how useful they are (or if some are better than others). For everyday life I may be overthinking it, but we do have our trip coming up soon as well. Thoughts?

We had some of the dispensers that we used on occasion, but we usually either had some of the pre-measured packets or just planned and made bottles as we went out. Sometimes, I had liquid in individual bottles when they got bigger.

I had premeasured formula dispensers with DD. They fit inside the bottles (we used tommy tippy) so they didn’t take up extra space. I think I put water in the bottles before we left home.

I would always put measured formula in bottles and carry a bottle of water.

We measured the formula into the bottles and then added the water as needed. We used the container for the formula when we just had M- but it only has 3 sections- which wasn’t helpful with two kids on a long trip.

For short out and about trips (only anticipating 1 feeding) I pre-filled bottles with water and used the formula dispenser thing. When we went on a trip we brought the whole container of formula and a gallon of water for the bottles. I packed 3 empty bottles per baby to last us until we reached somewhere we could wash the used bottles.

We used the formula dispensers, Munchkin brand. My kids were on different formulas for a while and then took vastly different amounts of formula once in the same kind, so I usually had two with me. Later they worked well for carrying goldfish or Cheerios in my bag.
