My friend's left an hour ago they were so noisy leaving they almost woke Emi. One of their daughters has a runny nose so we cleaned all of emi's toys after they left. The same daughter kept being really rough with Emi and kept pulling her hair. So ready for bed but H's co worker is still here.

I'm in bra purgatory. My 34B way back pre-baby bras are a smidge too small and result in slight muffin top. They're balconettes too so I think that's part of the problem. The regular bras I used while nursing are 34DD and a bit too big now. My pregnancy bras are 38C and waaaaay larger than the DDs. I'm currently weaning and dd is just nursing in the morning. I wonder if there's any chance the Bs will fit again once I'm completely done. I really don't want to buy new ones. My pre-pregnancy collection was so cute and colorful. They're still in such great shape. Sighs.
The other weird thing I've noticed since going back to real clothes is I have to wear an undershirt/tank top. Over the last three years I've gotten so use to wearing a nursing tank or having the stretchy maternity pant belly band that wearing just jeans felt weird against my skin! I'm currently wearing a comfy, silky, stretchy pregnancy tank under my sweater to avoid this problem.

I wore a bra to work yesterday for the first time in years, Lakes. It didn't fit. I've weaned from the pump (yesterday was my first pump-free day at work!) and am just nursing morning and night. I am waiting until she decides she's no longer interested in my boobs... THEN, I'm going crazy buying new bras. And probably new undies, too, because my "delicates" drawer is super sad...

Have any of you tried Third Love bras? I hear they're the bees knees. I haven' tried them, but a podcast I listen too has a coupon code, I think?

YES in bra purgatory Lakes! I’m still wearing nursing bras and they’re way too big. I’m definitely going to need to buy new ones but don’t want to buy any until at least a month after I’m totally done nursing. And I’m still on the nursing in the morning plan too and want to make it at least through this month. So my boobs will just look terrible and my bras will be uncomfortable. Sigh. judyblume14 Facebook has been doing some good targeted advertising with Third Love bras. I’m curious about them too.

I'm having a super productive day and crossing so much off my list. Fil took ds for a bit to get him a haircut and dd napped while they were gone 🎉🎉

Way to go E! I hope she's not too cranky from the shots.
Dd's eye appointment is Tuesday. I am not looking forward to having to hold her down for eyes drops. She was a beast during her one year. I swear she's stronger than my toddler!

So, I'm giving away all of our bottles/accessories/dishwasher baskets/ drying rack today. I shipped my old pump to a friend last week (Ameda, closed system, not gross).
I'm keeping one bottle jussst in case my H needs it when i'm out of town for work next week. I'm going to try to use my hand pump over the next couple days to stash a few ounces. But, we're 99% done with bottles, and I have a feeling A is going to start weaning soon. I'm a mess of emotion.

Thoughts/opinions- go cold turkey with E starting in daycare and enroll her for 5 days a week in May or start with two and then go up to 5 so that by the end of the month she is in 5 days a week.

peaseblossom55 if it was me, I'd jump right in at 5 days a week. Especially since she'll be going the entire week by the end of the month anyway. I'd like the consistency and same routine every day for both dd and me.

Hugs judyblume14. I was oddly emotional last week when I pulled the last bag out of my freezer stash.

Today is dd's eye appointment. I should probably bring some ear plugs for myself 😬 Mil is coming over to watch ds so I don't have to wrangle both of them.

Good luck with the appt, Lakes! peaseblossom55, for the transition to 5 days, would you have your current nanny cover the off days? I think either way will be fine, I don't think you'll "shock" her too bad with the cold turkey switch, and i also don't think she'll be confused or anything by a gradual shift. But I am, personally, a creature of habit and would prefer the switch to 5 days all at once.

Drops are in! She didn't get as loud as I expected but two people to hold her and one to administer the drops. Fun times.

Hiiiiii! What's going on? I fell off the map a bit. B has had the worst winter in terms of colds and sicknesses. I could barely keep up at work, but I'm trying to catch up on life now lol.

No glasses! She's a smidge farsighted but within the realm of normal for this age so we just have to monitor it. The doctor used the kid ahead of us as an example since he has a similiar situation. He had weird readings, was fine at 1, but needs glasses now at 3. It went as well I expected. She did fine for the first half of the appointment but was a raging beast once they put the drops in.
Then I hit up the thrift store since it's 50% Tuesdays in February. I found a couple summer things for the kids including a cute rash guard with alligators on it. One of dd's nicknames is alligator so I was excited 🐊 It was weird shopping with one kid though. It seemed so light and easy!
