How far along are you? 11 weeks exactly today. EDD is August 13th.
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? My nausea is still in full force, especially bad at night or after certain foods/meals. Soreness, some round ligament pain already. Emotionally, I am fine and stable one moment, and a total wreck the next. I am building up some anxiety waiting for the NIPT blood draw and the NT scan this Thursday, I think, and it's coming out in seemingly unrelated moodiness etc. trying some mindfulness techniques with variable success. Just saw the baby this morning at a prenatal appointment, though, and it looked fabulous, so I am trying to take comfort in that. I am also happy that I have not gained any weight at all this far, I am heavy and it's always on my mind to try and stay withing the healthy guidelines for my weight.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? Thursday is NT scan and they'll also take blood for the NIPT at that time as well.
Any other word vomit to share? Trying to figure out my OB situation. Last time I had a viable pregnancy, I lived in the city and now we're in the suburbs. My OB is on an extended sick leave and is likely not coming back. His associate at the practice there is nice too, wonderful, and I am familiar with the practice, the staff knows me, the hospital is familiar, etc. That being said, I also found a nice practice at a much closer location to me and I did meet the doctor today, who I really liked. It's like a 10 minute drive vs 45-50 on a good day. I don't know how to make a choice so I am procrastinating on it.
QotW: What is your favorite wintertime treat? Red grapefruit! I could eat 3-4 big ones a day!

twohopes Someone else that loves grapefruit! I am totally on that bench (except I'll take the whites because DROOL). I hope the nausea peters off for you soon and the anxiety levels out quickly, too. I know how sucky they are, especially in early pregnancy. *hugs* How far along are you? EDD? 30,3 EDD 3/30 (ha, that's a lot of 3s and 0s) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically, I'm slowing down even more and getting less mobile. I'm starting to not want to pick things up, thankfully my husband is the biggest saint about being there for me when I need his assistance. Emotionally, I'm okay one second and a mess the next. After getting the GD dx last week, it's just been a whole load of frustrating and depressing feelings of "why did I let this happen" (answer: I didn't), "I'm never going to get everything done", "I don't know what to eat because everything is bad for me", etc etc etc. I'm trying to be gentle with myself and learn to accept that I'm doing my best, but I always feel like I'm cheating somehow and that's why I'm having so many issues (protip: most of this is literally out of my control, both physically and mentally, no matter what I do). Any upcoming appointments or milestones? Appt Feb 5 for NST Any other word vomit to share? I think I blabbed enough above. QotW: What is your favorite wintertime treat? I'm not sure if I have a specific wintertime treat that I love, but I always look forward to my H's cousin-aunt's deviled eggs at our annual Christmas Eve gathering. It's something I crave yearly, seriously.

How far along are you? EDD? 13 weeks, 07/30
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Still have nausea and vomiting. Just waiting for those to go away!
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? General checkup Thursday. Also got my NIPT results and so far I have a healthy baby and we are team pink!
Any other word vomit to share? Not today.
QotW: What is your favorite wintertime treat? I can’t think of a wintertime year unless you count Girl Scout cookies! Bring on the thin mints please.

How far along are you? EDD? 7w, EDD 9/10
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically I'm doing ok. Mentally and emotionally is another story.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? We have our first appt tomorrow. And it couldn't have come at a better time.
Any other word vomit to share? I'm in a state of mindfuckery. I had some serious food aversions to chicken up until at least Thurs. I couldn't stand to eat it, and when I did eat (regardless of what I ate), I would feel weird after. Then that seems to have magically disappeared to be replaced by some serious exhaustion both Sat and Sun. NBD right? well, I've started some super light spotting now. So of course my brain is going to its bad place and I can't stop it.
QotW: What is your favorite wintertime treat? Hmmmm....peppermint hot chocolate probably!

How far along are you? EDD? 17w2d, June 30
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? It's all good right now actually. I have a bit of heartburn and some general soreness from slipping on some ice. Emotionally I'm just really enjoying being pregnant, except that people keep treating me more like an invalid than a pregnant woman, which is driving me nuts.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? I had an appointment today, and it's all good. Uterus is right where it should be and they found baby on the doppler right away. Next thing up is anatomy scan on 02/12. Eek!
Any other word vomit to share?
QotW: What is your favorite wintertime treat? I love oranges and clementines in the winter. I think it reminds me of summer =)

How far along are you? EDD? 36+5, 2/15
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically I’m ok. I’m almost 100% after falling last week (except my scraped knees are SO ITCHY). I’m still sore, but in a normal pregnant way rather than all over, which was really frustrating when you are already having trouble getting enough momentum to roll out of bed. Emotionally I’m all over the place. I’m very checked out at work. The actual teaching is fine, but paperwork, sitting through professional development and department meetings... really couldn’t care less right now. I just want to get my grades in and teach my classes. I’m also very done with DH right now. It’s partially grumpy pregnant lady, partially him being an ass.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? I’m on weekly appts so I’ll be back to the OB on Friday.
Any other word vomit to share? After my ultrasound on Tuesday, my OB told me on Friday that the baby we thought was head down was actually sideways. So we had this whole convo about how it was unlikely he’d move on his own at this point, making an appt to try to turn him, possibility of a c-section, etc. Then she went to check if I was dilated at all and was pretty sure he felt head down, dragged out the mini u/s machine, and sure enough, he was. Well. Nevermind then!
QotW: What is your favorite wintertime treat? Not this year yet, but after snow shoveling and the like, I make whiskey hot chocolate with cayenne and a little bit of maple syrup.

Babies are so darn wiggly, if they're high enough up, they can flip and turn all over the place! Glad he was in the correct position though!

My best friends son flipped from head down to breech 2 weeks after his due date lol. If she hadn't have mentioned all of the movement at her check up they wouldn't have known!

How far along are you? EDD? 8 weeks, 9/5 confirmed today!
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically the morning sickness is hitting me hard at different times during the day depending on when I take my prenatal. Always horrid in the morning either way. Emotionally just feeling buckled in now and ready for this ride, still trying to stay detached to an extent.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? Had one today to confirm due date and it measured right on track with a heartbeat of 158, I felt like breaking down during everything because it was the same room where I learned of my loss so it was a mindfuck, glad it’s over. Next appointment is in 3 weeks where I hope to do my prenatal testing.
Any other word vomit to share? This check in gives me a lot of hope to see all of you who are a lot further along, so much comfort.
QotW: What is your favorite wintertime treat? Cinnamon or caramel rolls

How far along are you? EDD? 14w 6d, 7/19
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Doing alright this week. I decided to cut caffeine and see if that was making my anxiety worse... it absolutely was. I didn't cut it completely, I'll still have a pop and be okay. But no more regular coffee for me. Cutting out caffeine caused a 3 day super headache which made me want to cry all day. Besides some headaches and a bit of nausea still, physically I'm doing alright.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? 2/7 is my next appt. I think I might be feeling some movement. I only notice it every now and then. I felt DS at 15w, so it's not too surprising I could be feeling baby.
Any other word vomit to share?
QotW: What is your favorite wintertime treat? Starbucks salted caramel mocha.
