I can't decide if it's too early in pregnancy for the swollen fingers and feet. My fingers are just kind of overall swollen all day. My feet do the whole swollen by the end of the day, but then go back to normal overnight.
I have an OB appointment on Tuesday, so I'll definitely ask about it.

It's been a busy, but fun weekend! I met up with a TCF S15 friend yesterday morning. Cleaned the windows at our house which I've been meaning to do forever. And had dinner with friends last night.
Today we are off to my ILs for a pool day. DD hasn't been in a pool for about 6 months so I'm hoping she still loves it!

My feet use to swell really bad with DD and then return to normal by morning (though once my fingers started swelling they never really went back till a few months after DD was born). My blood pressure was always normal, or even low though as that was my biggest concern. Hopefully this will be a short lived symptom for you!

A lazy Sunday is in the plans for today. It's just overcast here so we might take DD to the park this afternoon. I love being at my parents as it means weekends don't need to be filled with grocery shopping or laundry or other "adulting" chores. I'll just pretend none of that is waiting for us when we get back.

I went to the outlets this morning to pick up my Carters order and use up my rewards points. DH said, "now remember this is #2 and he has a lot of hand-me-downs". To which I reminded him that not only am I a second, I'm also a middle, so this one will get some things that are just his, lol. Actually it was mostly things like "little brother" outfits and some newborn and 3 month jackets I found on clearance.

We took DD to the park twice this weekend, she loves the "big slide" and the swings. She becomes a hot screaming mess when it's time to leave though- the tough part about being a kid. Definitely pushed into her nap time to go to the grocery store where she had an epic meltdown because we wouldn't let her run around.
Oh and her new thing is pulling off her pants and diaper and sitting on the potty chair- which is a great first step to potty training but she adamantly refused to let us put a diaper back on her...huge argument. Welcome to the 2's club to me and DH, I guess?

Thanks for the support, friends! I hope everyone is out of the sick phase soon. Related: we were just at the grocery store and I gagged in the meat section, MH sent me to the bakery to recover, hahaha. I may or may not have a slice of cake now

H decided we should take an impromptu overnight trip yesterday. I'm so glad we did. DS had the best time and it took my mind off a lot of stressful stuff going on. Now we are back and I just took a 2 hour nap and woke up to a horrible sounding storm.
I wish I had cake. The rain needs to stop so I can go find some.

Conference was great today. H is attempting potty training while I'm away and it sounds like it's going well. Missing family, but enjoying some grown up time. Also, hotel bathrobes make me happy.

August Blooms, we started out planning on DIY a good portion of the landscaping ourselves - I was excited about operating a Bobcat! but when we got our surprise BFP, we decided to hire a landscape company to work on the hardscaping since hubs wouldn't get much help from me and it wouldn't be fair. At least my part is done with the design and blueprints and we just ironed out all the little details with the company so thye are slated to break ground in a couple of weeks! So excited, this needed to happen like 6 yrs ago! We'll slowly put in trees and shrubs and sod and we're thinking of hiring someone to put in the trees - the soil here is like cement - just awful and I cant be swinging a pick axe. We also finally finished a huge wall of built-ins in our LR. The fireplace still needs to be tiled but we have storage now and can hide all of DS' toys!!!. The office is slow progress because we are now waiting on our carpenter to mud and sand the dry drywall before we start painting and hanging the cabinets. He's awesome but so super booked and isn't taking on jobs but he'll do ours and has been coming in an hour or 2 after his work in the evenings. I hate mudding and sanding drywall - the dust is horrid and would hire someone to do that part. Also we have textured walls in the house and I hate it with a vengeance and hubs and i aren't good with texturing. I also need to start drafting out our basement soon since we now need the extra room with another surprise addition. 2 twin beds in DS' room is a tight squeeze and nothing else can fit in there if that happens so hoping I can get my designs and drawings done in the next few months before babe shows up and begin the process of getting quotes from contractors and budgeting etc. and planning on what we can DIY by the end of the year. So yeah! the babe is already kicking our asses and s/he isn't even here yet! hahaha!

@dustymonkey Wow - that is a lot! I'm exhausted just reading it. I am sure it will all turn out great though - you seem to have a good plan.
