How far along are you? EDD? 33+5, 2/15
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically I’m sore. My pelvic muscles are especially uncomfortable. I’m just hoping that means that when baby comes, he comes quickly! I’m starting to daydream about being able to move around normally again. Emotionally, I am definitely getting in that nesting mode. But I’m frustrated because I didn’t get much done over my break. I feel like the house is a mess and I’m unprepared. The time was spent on family and so on, so it was a good busy, but I’m going back into work just as behind as I was when I got out.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? I have an OB appointment next Friday, then I move to weekly appointments.
Any other word vomit to share? This is the last month before my life changes a lot. I’m excited, but I’m also going to miss our tried and true routines.
QotW: Let’s hear those 2018 goals, resolutions, and/or big plans! I find it hard to make goals this year. You just never know how hard they might be to stick to when you are in survival mode with a baby. Right now I think I’m going to try a modified no spend January. This means avoiding things like buying random stuff I “need” on Amazon, only getting coffee out at places I have gifts cards for, and limiting my groceries to needs instead of wants. I’m leaving room for the occasional date night with DH because those are rare as it is and going to get rarer. Also I’ll be buying some baby stuff that might be more on the “want” than “need” side, but just things that will make my life easier, not items that would be purely unnecessary at this point, like more baby clothes.

How far along are you? EDD?
26w1d, 4-9-18
How are you feeling physically and emotionally?
Physically I'm sore with back aches and hip pain. My new pregnancy pillow arrives today. I really hope it helps with the sciatic pain.
Emotionally, I have my good days and bad days. Baby moves consistently now and that helps. However, I find myself thinking "please just make it to April and arrive safely" a lot. I have no reason to believe things won't go well the rest of my pregnancy, but I've been on these boards long enough to know what can happen at any point in pregnancy (and beyond). So, the anxiety is always there.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones?
Next week is 3rd tri, I think.
Any other word vomit to share?
I had the stomach flu the past few days and I'm finally starting to feel much more human again.
QotW: Let’s hear those 2018 goals, resolutions, and/or big plans!
I didn't make much for resolutions this year, except to stay more organized and on top of thing. Not only do we have this little guys arrival at rhe beginning of April, my DS1 graduates high school the following month! I feel like I have so much to prepare for.

How far along are you? EDD? 10w1d, 07/30
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically much better now that I’ve been prescribed zofran. The difference is night and day.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? NIPT and additionally blood work this Friday.
Any other word vomit to share? I got a Surprise ultrasound on Friday and got to see the little wiggled! It came exactly two years after the ultrasound that confirmed blighted ovum. So I’m passed that milestone.
QotW: Let’s hear those 2018 goals, resolutions, and/or big plans!
No resolutions or big goals for me. I’m just trucking along. After baby and the adjustment period there will be goals.

How far along are you? EDD? 27,4 How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically, I can definitely tell I'm slowing down. I keep trying to do as much as I feel is normal for me, but I start feeling exhausted and the tinny/penny taste in my mouth far earlier than I should. Example: I started tasting the penny/blood feeling in the back of my throat the other day when I took a shower. A shower! Not even a particularly long shower, just a normal one. Emotionally, I'm doing so much better, it's insane. I don't know if it's because I made the appointment with the social worker or because my friend/tenant finally moved out yesterday, but holy crap do I just feel GOOD. We did a ton of work yesterday after he left and I'm so proud and happy with us, even if MrRama grumbled about having to hop up and work without food. Sorry not sorry, that was such a huge mood boost, I'm so pleased it happened. We have a little bit more stuff to do in the master bedroom, but once that's all arranged and taken care of, we'll be able to buy the big things, like a crib! I could go on about how much this means to me, but I think I've gotten my point across. Any upcoming appointments or milestones? I think the next one is next Monday with the social worker. Any other word vomit to share? Nope. I did enough above, hahaha. QotW: Let’s hear those 2018 goals, resolutions, and/or big plans! My one resolution this year is to not bring excessive clutter into the house. My goals are to whittle away our credit card debt, keep our house in some kind of array, get in better physical health after baby arrives, and be the best parent I can be. Our big plans are obviously having a baby, but maybe also going on a trip with SIL if we can swing the finances. We're saving for a big international trip next year (2019!), so that would be our biggest priority with regard to saving.

How far along are you? EDD? 11w 5d. July 19.
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically - still dealing with first tri yucky feeling.
Emotionally - We picked 2 potential girl names last night and now I'm slightly freaking out. We picked a name with my loss and the next day I miscarried. I know picking the name had nothing to do with it, but I keep thinking about it.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? Jan 9th is my next appt.
Any other word vomit to share? Not today.
QotW: Let’s hear those 2018 goals, resolutions, and/or big plans!
We hope to pay off all our debt except mortgage and business loan this year. I want to work on building up our savings account too.

How far along are you? EDD? 14w4d, June 30
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically, I've got headaches, sciatica, heartburn, and my hips hurt when I sleep. Emotionally, I'm feeling a little nervous. I keep thinking what if something is wrong, what if it's another MMC and they won't know until they try to do the A/S? I guess I'm just trying to stay out of my own head as much as possible, which isn't making things easy for MH. I'm definitely snapping at him much more than usual.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? I had a check in with the high risk doctor this morning. He's so far pleased with how everything seems to be progressing. Funny note, he had to double check my BP this morning because apparently it was 90/52 lol
Any other word vomit to share? Just that it's been SO COLD and I'm sick of being stuck inside!
QotW: Let’s hear those 2018 goals, resolutions, and/or big plans! To have a healthy pregnancy and be a good momma to my little, and to have things squared away enough that it won't totally suck when I go on mat leave.

Speedy, if you're feeling particularly anxious about baby, are you able to call in and get a quickie ultrasound? Several places offer the peace of mind checks because adding extra crazy to a pregnant person isn't something they tend to want. It couldn't hurt to ask for. <3 Alternatively, do you have a home doppler? It might help make you feel a little more assured if you can just find babe's hb real quick at home when you're feeling particularly scared (as long as this won't make you crazy).

I think I'll wait until Monday and see how I feel then. I feel kind of silly because everything seems alright, and I just saw little 3 weeks ago, but PGAL brain is being a bitch. I've been contemplating a doppler. May be time to actually go for it.

How far along are you? EDD? 7 weeks - 8/23 according to my LMP
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? I'm feeling good physically for the most part. Experiencing a lot of bloating and peeing a lot but that's to be expected. Emotionally, I'm very anxious for my first appointment and it feels like time is going by so slowly.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? I have my first appointment on Thursday of next week.
Any other word vomit to share? I'm scared and feel like this is too good to be true.
QotW: Let’s hear those 2018 goals, resolutions, and/or big plans! About 5-6 months ago I changed the way I eat and have felt so much better. It's basically a diabetic diet. I have a history of diabetes in my family and I had GD the last time I was pregnant so I'm pretty much expecting to have it again. I've been able to stick with this way of eating so far and plan to do so throughout this pregnancy.

How far along are you? EDD? ~5 weeks, 9/5/18, will have official dating ultrasound in 3 weeks
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Good, tired. Some days are easier than others emotionally. I just don’t want to see anyone, but people want to see me so trying to avoid others is becoming increasingly harder. Just want to get thru 1st tri in privacy. 😬
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? Had my first intake appointment yesterday and I do not like the nurse who does them, she calls me honey/sweetie...she’s my age.
Had all my blood levels checked and everything came back within standard range. Betas came back at 1724...should I have them draw it again at some point or just wait for my dating ultrasound in a few weeks? Can’t decide on how important it is to know my levels.
Any other word vomit to share? Vomitted above, I think I’m probably an absolute nightmare to be around right now.
QotW: Let’s hear those 2018 goals, resolutions, and/or big plans! Keeping it simple, I just want to focus on drinking more water.

I know some people find Dopplers stressful, but mine was such a huge help in keeping me calm between appointments. I also never had too much trouble finding the heartbeat, so that is obviously a factor. My stress always ramps up the closer I get to an ultrasound or appointment so it’s nice just to be able to tell my brain to shut up so I can sleep soundly, not spiral, etc.
I never use the doppler after consistent movement starts because kick counts are a much better indicator of whether everything is ok. But before that, I’m generally doppler once a week or so.

mirabelle, a single beta doesn't tell you anything more than a binary pregnant/not pregnant. It's the difference between two betas that really gives you an indicator of whether the pregnancy is progressing well or not. If that would make you feel better, I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for one. If it would make you more anxious, I would try to not spend much time overthinking the beta and just wait for your ultrasound.

Little bean decided to let me know that all is well by having a wiggle fest the other night, right up the top of my uterus :-)
